Student teams participating in CERT-Wharton EPIC compete for US$50,000 in cash and prizes, as well as access to entrepreneurial resources or capital which are awarded at the Finals. Judges will award the following prizes:
Grand Prize: $20,000
Second Prize: $10,000
Third Prize: $5,000
Finalist Prize: $2,000 for each of 5 teams that do not receive the Grand, 2nd or 3rd prize.
Best Undergraduate Business Plan: $5,000
The Undergraduate Award in Entrepreneurial Studies is given to the highest-ranking undergraduate team in CERT-Wharton EPIC. At least 50% of the team must be made up of undergraduate students.
Distribution of Prizes
Prize money will only be distributed to one member of a winning team. They will be responsible for dividing prize monies among all team members.
